Cascade County Homicide Update: New Area of Interest
In a video shared to social media on Saturday at 12:34 PM, Cascade County Sheriff Slaughter announced that he would share some of the most crucial details about the case up to this point.
"I'm gonna give as much of a suspect description as I can at this point," Sheriff Slaughter said in the video, "Then we're going to close out with better ways to get evidence to us in this case because our canvas area of what we're looking at for video and evidence has drastically grown."
Sheriff Slaughter, standing in front of an overhead map of Great Falls, revealed the area authorities are investigating and hoping to get surveillance of the victim's vehicle.
"Today's update we're looking at 14th Street [South], clear over to 26th Street South, that's Great Falls High," Sheriff Slaughter said, "We're looking for surveillance video probably from midnight on January 9th til about 10 AM on January 9th."
"Again, we're looking for the victim's car, it's a 2014 Chevy Cruze, we're obviously looking for surveillance video that has this car in this area here particularly."

Sheriff Slaughter then gave the community some details they've been asking for: details about the suspect.
"One of the other things I'll release at this point in time is what I feel comfortable releasing for a suspect description," Slaughter said before giving the description:
Probably a male, 20s to 30s at the oldest, but with the video that we've got we can't really determine that, wearing I believe it's a zip-up hoodie or coat, it's hard for me to describe the color to the public because most of the footage is infrared cameras and it distorts the color, makes darks look light and vice-versa, so that's kind of what we're looking for as far as suspect's description.
Sheriff Slaughter then extended his thanks to the different agencies involved in the investigation, including the public support.
If you have footage of the 2014 red Chevy Cruze, or any other important information that can help detectives in this case, you're asked to email it to nallison@cascadecountymt.com or call/text 406-836-0010.
