The Great Falls Fire Rescue Essay Contest Is Back

October is fire prevention month, and it is designed to educate about fire safety and, ultimately, prevent fires.

The month comes after the devastating 1871 fire in Chicago, Illinois.

The Great Chicago Fire killed around 300 people and destroyed thousands of buildings, leaving many residents homeless.

Great Falls Fire Rescue started an essay contest in 2021 to help educate the youth in our community about fire safety.
