Just yesterday, I shared a story with you about Montana native, Sean O'Malley representing our state at UFC Freedom 250 in June at the White House.

Now, I'm sharing a flipside version of that story but this time with another major fighter in the news who has recently announced they're living in Montana.

But why?

One minute, you feel like only you and a few other fans know about their work, then all of a sudden, everyone and their mom is a "fan" - it just feels... different. Like they're only on-board because it's the "cool thing to do."

I imagine it's very similar for people who have been calling Montana home for most of their lives.

You've lived here your whole life, one of America's best-kept secrets, and all of a sudden... celebrities left and right are moving in.

One of the obvious reasons celebrities love the Montana life is due to the privacy and the escape from the Hollywood limelight, getting back to "basics."

Another could be a much simpler reason: Montana is beautiful.

Fighter Facing Ronda Rousey Announces Move to Montana

Netflix has made waves in the sports world with novelty boxing matches that have included the likes of Mike Tyson and most recently, Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua.

On May 16th, Netflix will be putting on another massive fight but this time, it will be between two former UFC stars (and actresses) Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.

The pair of UFC-turned-Hollywood stars appeared in a face-off/press conference on Tuesday (3/10), answering questions about the upcoming bout and sharing updates about their current stances on the world of MMA and their personal lives.

Carano announced that she's been enjoying a life in Montana.

"I actually moved up to Montana, I live on a farm, I got married to my first and last love, Kevin Ross, and it was the best thing I have ever done," Carano said in the press conference.

Utilizing our various resources that many of us have access to, I learned that Carano is enjoying a life near Bozeman. That's about where our search ended out of respect for her privacy - I mean, it's why she came here in the first place, right?
