Halloween is this weekend and it's one of the most fun times of the year for people who want to express themselves.

You can feel the excitement in the air... and on the roads of Great Falls for the spookiest time of year.

Something Spooky Is Lurking The Streets Of Great Falls...

Like many people, I typically take the same route to work every day. I'll occasionally mix it up from time to time but most of the time, I'm taking 9th St. to get to the station every day.

Along my morning commute, at least for most of this month, I've noticed a vibrant, lit up vehicle parked next in a parking lot near First Ave and 9th St. Every single day, this decked out vehicle with "digital eyeballs" on the windshield (seemingly keeping an eye on people driving up and down 9th St.) is posted up with all of the lights lit up.

With a large skeleton sticking out of the top of the Jeep among other decorations, you can imagine how intimidating it might feel for someone like me, a stranger, to pull over and ask this person I've never met if I can take photos of his vehicle.

But, today was the day. I got the courage to pull over and see what's going on.

Meet Chad, Owner Of "The Mistress"

When I pulled into the lot, I tried to be as disarming as possible being it was still early in the morning.

"Hi there! Your vehicle looks awesome!" I yelled out as I exited my vehicle and approached his.

"Hey, thanks!" the owner replied back.

Once we got to talking, I learned the owner of the vehicle's name is Chad and he calls his ride "The Mistress." He shared it took him about a full day to deck out his Jeep with Halloween decorations. He says that he gets to work super early every single day and sits in the lot, sometimes with a cup of coffeee, waiting for the day to get going.

"My dad always taught me to be early," he shared, "If you're on time, you're late."

How To See The Great Falls Vehicle "The Mistress" In-Person

Once I got done snapping some photos and video, I learned that Chad will be featuring his spooky creation in the Downtown Great Falls: El Desfile De Los Muertos parade this Saturday (Nov. 1) at 5 PM on Central Avenue.

But, if you're unable to make it this Saturday, you're in luck. We got an up-close and personal look for you and wait until you see the back of this Jeep!
