GREAT FALLS MAN ARRESTED AFTER HIGH SPEED CHASE. WHY WERE POLICE AFTER HIM?
A Great Falls man has been arrested after leading police on a high speed chase that resulted in a three vehicle crash. Don Stratton, 55, was taken to the hospital after the crash and at last report remains there today. Police were after Stratton for violating conditions of his release on bond. Stratton was charged last October with five counts of sexual intercourse involving a 15 year old girl.
Police say he violated his release conditions by communicating with a witness in the case, a 17 year old girl. They communicated through facebook and below is what was exchanged.

17 year old: “I just want you to know even if i never get to see you again i love every inch of you with every bone in my body you were my passion my muse my everything and you just need to know that there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and I will never in my existence stop loving you I have always thought of you as my husband even if we werent married fully and I wish I loved you better that I did I wish i loved you properly”
Stratton responds “All I want is to be with you again. I am waiting for you. You ARE my wife. I love you.”
According to reports, the 17 year old has already been sentenced for her part in the case. The 17 year old is now serving time in a juvenile facility in Idaho. According to reports, the 17 year old had taken part in sexual activities with the 15 year old and Stratton.
UPDATE
Stratton has now been transferred from the hospital to the county jail. He also is facing three counts of criminal endangerment for the accident and for running a red light. His bond has now been set at $750,000.
