Great Falls man busted for pointing a gun at wife and waving it a round.
What do you get when you point a gun at your wife and then wave it around? You get charged with felonies. And that's what happened to Jordan Lazaroff. Police arrested him Saturday outside his home in the 5000 block of Silverwood Court. Police asked Lazaroff why he was waving the gun around and he told officers he was stressed about many different aspects of life. Lazaroff admitted to police that he was outside his home waving the gun around and threatening to kill himself.
According to his wife, Lazaroff cocked the firearm in the couple's bedroom and at one point he pointed it at her. He said he was not going to put the gun down until it falls out of his hand. A friend told police that Jordan got upset at his wife because she had gone out with friends earlier that night. The wife told police she feared for her life when Jordan pointed the gun directly at her. Police found the gun and seized it.
The wife was apparently on the phone with a friend at the time of the incident and that friend could hear the wife telling Jordan to put the gun down. Lazaroff was also convicted of a similar crime back on March 26, 2021.
Lazaroff has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault. A baby was also at the home at the time of the incident. The state was recommending a bail of $20,000 but that was upped by the judge to $50,000. If he is released on bond the state is also asking for GPS monitoring.
