Great Falls police are asking for the community's help in tracking down individuals who witnessed a fatal crash that took place yesterday.

Great Falls Police Need Your Help

According to a press release from Great Falls Police Department, a horrific crash took place yesterday at 3rd St. NW and 16th Ave NW involving a motorcycle and a truck

"GFPD officers and crash investigators, along with crews from Great Falls Fire Rescue and Great Falls Emergency Services, responded," Great Falls police said in their statement.

"The motorcycle driver was transported to Benefis Health System Emergency Department and tragically died."

Now, law enforcement is asking the community for help about what happened. Crash Investigator O'Brien is requesting to speak to anyone who might have captured the incident on video via dashcam or phone.

Great Falls Police Looking for Witness

Great Falls police shared a photo that they hope will help identify additional witnesses in the crash.

"In the photo attached you can see a black vehicle," the press release says, "O'Brien believes the vehicle may be a Jeep. O'Brien believes the driver of that vehicle likely witnessed the crash and would like to get their account of what happened.

"The driver is not suspected in any way of being involved in the crash, just a witness."

Law enforcement is asking anyone with information or video of the incident to please call CI O'Brien at 406-781-8923 or send Great Falls police a message on social media.

"We appreciate the community's effort to assist and we send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased."
