"We strongly recommend using the 9th St bridge as an alternate. Thanks for your patience, we will update this post when the incident has been resolved."
As you'd expect, the "Avengers of Great Falls" rallied and brought the person involved to safety.
"Emergency personnel are clear of the bridge now," police shared in their update.
"A person has been transported by boat to Broadwater Bay where they were met by an ambulance and taken to Benefis Health System Emergency Department."
How Did Great Falls First Responders Perform the River Rescue?
According to police, the rescue was made up of "five public safety agencies, 911, and members of the team at Black Eagle Dam."
Utilizing three rescue boats, first responders were able to get the first boat out in under 10 minutes.
"The other responders aided in directing the boat to the person, including using a drone and officers on shore," Great Falls police shared, "The person was out of the water about 10 minutes after the first boat launched."

"As always, Doug W, Stephen, and Kelly (today's 911 team) did an amazing job coordinating the response."
Talk about a response time, am I right? Thanks to the coordinated swift action of these agencies, we're able to celebrate a successful rescue as opposed to what could've been.
"We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we worked to safely and swiftly render aid."
Special thanks to officers and stay safe out there!
