With that usually comes a strong sense of attachment, a passionate bond. And with the recent announcement of a popular local spot's closure, people across Great Falls are displaying that passion in the form of goodbyes.
Popular Great Falls Pizza Spot Announces Permanent Closure
Back in January, we shared a story with you about a fire at Howard's Pizza in downtown Great Falls. Apparently, the damage caused by the fire was just too much to bounce back from.
In a post shared by the restaurant yesterday, we learned that Howard's Pizza will be closing its downtown location for good.

"As many know, in January, our downtown location experienced a fire," Howard's Pizza shared on their Facebook page, "Thankfully, no one was injured, and we are deeply grateful for the swift response of our local firefighters."
"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to reopen that location. This was not a choice we made lightly — that restaurant holds a special place in our hearts and in this community, and we want to sincerely thank every guest who walked through its doors over the years."
What's Next For Howard's Pizza?
But don't worry, it's not all bad news! The folks at Howard's Pizza shared they'll be expanding at their Southwest location.
