Common Ways To Get Rid of Mosquitoes
You can have the perfect backyard setup, kids running through the sprinklers, the BBQ grill going, and the sun starting to set across the Big Sky. For a second, it feels just about perfect.
Then you hear it. Zzzzz. Smack. Game over. The mosquitoes have arrived.
Thankfully, there are ways to deal with them. The go-to is bug spray, but it is loaded with chemicals, and while for some the smell is nostalgic, others would rather not walk around smelling like it all night.
Citronella candles can help too, but what if you could cut down on mosquitoes and make your yard look better at the same time?
Plants That Naturally Repel Mosquitoes
If you have even a little bit of a green thumb, there are quite a few plants that mosquitoes hate. Adding them to your yard can help keep those pests away while also giving your space a nice upgrade.
Now, nothing is going to guarantee a completely mosquito-free night. If your neighbor has standing water nearby, that is going to make things tougher. But these plants can definitely help cut down on how many you are dealing with.
At the very least, your yard will look great, so it is kind of a win either way.👇
