Another Small Business Suffers Set Back In Great Falls

While I am saddened by the news that this Great Falls restaurant is closing, at least for the time being the closure is only temporary.

Firehouse steamers posted on their Facebook page on September 17th they would be closing temporarily until new owners can be found.

The current owners have not released any information into why they were looking to sell the business but it is clear they were unable to continue operating until new ownership became available.

Firehouse Steamers Is Not The Only One Affected

Another small business Mac Attack-which has a food truck usually at the Farmers Markets on Saturdays-had their food being sold at Firehouse and are being hit hard by the temporary closure.

Owner Brittany Hopkins told me, "The closure makes it so I don't have a regular outlet to sell from, but I do still have a commissary kitchen to use so I can still use my trailer while the weather is manageable. I have a couple of leads that look promising for a new outlet, but nothing set in stone quite yet."

While we do not have any update on when a new owner will be taking over, we will provide more information if it becomes available. Hopefully this will not be added to the list of small businesses being affected by the Great Falls economy.
