Salad Recall at Popular Retailer Effects Shoppers in Montana
I swear, quality control is simply out the door and out of control for products in our stores. It isn't one particular sector that is experiencing these recalls either. Food, vehicles, dog food, toys and more have all been on the list of recalls lately.
Some recalls are because of contaminated products, especially within the food industry. But mislabeled products aren't as common, until now at this popular box store retailer.
Costco Issues Recall on July 3rd Regarding Salads Mislabeled
In a press release from their website, Costco stated that a salad product had been mislabeled, which could cause allergic reactions for certain individuals.
The products in question for the recall is Kirkland Ancient Grain + Vegetable Salad and Kirkland Grain + Celery Salad.

The mismarked products could contain undeclared almonds and soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Soy or Almonds run the risk of severe life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
How to Get Your Refund at Costco in Montana
If you were a consumer who purchased one of these products and found it to be mislabeled, Costco offers the following solution:
"If you’re allergic to Soy or Almonds do not consume this product, please return it to Costco for a full refund. If you have any questions, contact us at 800-774-2678, Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT, Saturday - Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm PT."
