Morningside Elementary will continue to serve as a beloved neighborhood school and will also host the groundbreaking on-site teacher preparation program.
This program, established through a partnership with the University of Montana-Western, will play a central role in shaping the future of education in the community.
According to GFPS, one of the key reasons for selecting Morningside is the availability of space to welcome students from across the city and the region.
CORE Charter School Information Session
To address inquiries and disseminate important information, GFPS will be organizing informative sessions for Morningside families.
- November 7th at 6:30 pm
- November 14th at 5:30 pm
Families are encouraged to attend either session, as the content will be similar for both.
In early 2024, informative sessions will also be conducted for families outside the Morningside attendance area considering enrolling in the CORE School for the upcoming academic year.
CORE Committee
Starting on November 3rd, applications are invited from the general public for those interested in joining the CORE School steering committee.
This committee will play a crucial role in shaping the vision and implementing the innovative educational approach of the CORE School.
