Tragedy Strikes Montana Rodeo And 4-H Communities
The Montana rodeo and 4-H communities were hit with pretty hard news in the last 24 hours.
In an announcement via social media, it was revealed that former 2018 Miss Teen Rodeo Montana, Keely Drummond Schearer had passed away due to complications from cancer. Keely was just 23 years old.
A Passion for Helping Starting at a Young Age in Belt, MT
According to the MSU Extension - Cascade County, Keely was a 10-year member of the local Tiger Butte 4-H group, and growing up in Belt, MT allowed her to pursue becoming a grand champion showman with her horses and market sheep.

Keely also was able to pursue her love of rodeo when she was chosen to be the 2018 Miss Teen Rodeo Montana. She traveled across the Big Sky State and became an instant role model to many others and an inspiration to all.
Celebration of Life and a Continuing Legacy for Keely
The celebration of life for Keely will be held at the Belt City Park in the pavilion at 11 a.m. on August 30. The family asks those attending to bring stories about Keely to share.
