 CMR

Lets highlight CMR; After a victorious home opener as they defeated flathead 33 to 0, they head for Missoula to take on the Missoula Big Sky Eagles. Missoula Big Sky was home last week as they defeated Belgrade, final score was 31 to 7. Drew Martin, the quarterback for Missoula was successful throwing the ball to colt Remus with his six receptions. Joey Sandberg was the running back out of the backfield tearing up the field for 121 yards on 17 carries it seems that their strategy is to run the ball first. we'll see how the stout defense of CMR can hold him back.

CMR sophomore quarterback, Cole Taylor will take the field again with his able running backs, Keegan Fuller, and Kayden Clement as they racked up plenty of yards last week against flat head

Great Falls High

Meanwhile, here in the Electric city, the Bison will enjoy staying at home and not getting on the road. Last week, they had to face the big bully in the AA, the Glacier Wolfpack. The opponent headed into Memorial stadium is the Missoula Hellgate knights. Both the Bison and the Knights suffered defeats last weekend with the opponents, each scoring 44 points, in their contest. Hellgate did score 15 against Billings Senior's 44 points. Quarterback for Hellgate, Ryland Davis, spread the ball around with his pass first offense even though he suffered three interceptions, Elijah Martinez is the runner out of the backfield, who had minimum yardage in their contest against Billings Senior.  When I talked with Coach Tcheda he said his team is going to run first and pass second. Coach said they've had a good week of practice to clean up some things that they noticed against Kalispell Glacier. Quarterback Riley Colette will have an able backfield with Ryder English, and Isaiah Brown, on the defensive side of the ball.  The Bison are feeling comfortable with his athletes in there that are solid tacklers, Jace Kirkhart, Brayden, Rankin, and Mason Kralj dealing the tackles. Each team will be hungry to get their first win in AA ball before they move onto conference action next week.
