In October 2024, Dylan Graves came to Montana to do some river surfing. I was intrigued when I saw the term river surfing, so I dug into it further.
Surfer did an article titled, Watch: Who Knew There's A Thriving Surf Scene In Montana.
I watched it.
It looks super fun. It also appears to be a whole river surfing scene in the Treasure State. This is my favorite thing they said about Montana and the river surfers who live here:
