Municipal Court Canned Food Day Is December 6

Time to get your cans ready, the Annual Canned Food Day with the City of Great Falls Municipal Court is coming up on December 6, 2024 from 7am to 4:30pm.

The City of Great Falls Municipal Court has held the food drive for over a decade with the help of the people at Set Free Ministries.

How Does The Great Falls Municipal Court Canned Food Day Work?

Donate 10 NON-PERISHABLE food items and it will be credited as a month's payment.

What Are The Rules For Canned Food Day?

From The City of Great Falls:

People who can NOT donate are:

• Not current on fines
• Are paying restitution ONLY
• Are in collections for the entire balance of fines/restitution
• Have an active warrant
• Have a deferred prosecution agreement
• Are completing community service in lieu of paying fines
• Food donated will be donated to the Great Falls Community Food Bank
• All food donated MUST be non-perishable
• Any food donated will NOT be returned even if the person who donated it is deemed ineligible
• Any food donated over 10 items WILL NOT count for another month of payments

Set Free Ministries will be on hand to help with the food collection.
