Montana: Massive Recall Due To Listeria Right Before Super Bowl
Heading into Super Bowl Sunday, where dips rein supreme, you need to be aware of a very serious food recall in Montana. These products have all been sold at American deli counters.
The CDC Has Issued A Food Safety Alert In Montana and America

Rizo-López Foods issued a voluntary recall on Monday for all cheeses and other dairy products made in its Modesto facility because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes
Cheeses, yogurts and sour creams from the company have been linked to a multi-state Listeria outbreak with 26 sick from 7 states, 23 hospitalized and 2 people dead.
The recalled products were sold nationwide under the following brands and at deli counters: Campesino, Casa Cardenas, Don Francisco, Dos Ranchitos, El Huache, Food City, La Ordena, Rio Grande, Rizo Bros, San Carlos, Santa Maria, Tio Francisco and 365 Whole Foods Market. The products are marked with a wide range of sell by dates between March 23 and July 31, 2024.

Listeriosis (Listeria Infection) usually starts within 2 weeks of eating compromised food. Listeria has been known to start the day of ingestion, or as late as 10 weeks later.
fever, muscle aches, nausea, tiredness, vomiting, and diarrhea. If the more severe form of listeriosis develops, symptoms may include headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions.
