Applications for Montana Clean Energy Loans Open Soon
Most of us are fully aware of how expensive things are these days, especially if you're a business owner. But even if you're not feeling any financial burden from what's going on, you probably like saving money - Montana does too.
That's why it's important to know about a program that can not only help you save money in the long run but also help protect the environment and our amazing state.
What is The Alternative Energy Revolving Loan Program?
According to the Department of Environmental Equality, the Alternative Energy Revolving Loan Program (AERLP) "provides low interest loans to individuals, small businesses, nonprofit organizations and government entities to increase investments in alternative energy systems and energy conservation measures in Montana."
This helps Montanans purchase alternative energy solutions that can include solar panels, wind turbines, geothermal systems, pellet stoves, and energy-efficient upgrades.

Once these loans are repaid, the money is then reused for future projects. According to the Department of Environmental Equality, "the program has provided financing for more than $19 million in alternative energy systems and energy saving measures installed in Montana homes and businesses."
Throw in the low interest rate, no down payment, and you got yourself a pretty solid deal.
