Montana Has Nearly The Most Expensive Energy Costs In The Nation
I'm not going to lie; when I first learned that Montana has some of the highest energy costs in the nation, I was a bit irritated.
After all, Montana is home to some of the richest natural resources in the nation, yet here we are paying some of the highest prices for our energy.
Is it just me, or does it not add up?

WalletHub recently conducted a study looking into energy costs across the nation.
To conduct the survey, WalletHub looked at average monthly energy bills nationwide.
The study included the average monthly electricity, natural gas, home heating oil, and motor fuel consumption.
The study also examined the average retail price of electricity, natural gas, and home heating oil.
The report also broke down the average monthly energy bill in each state.
