It's easy to take for granted just how good we have it here in Montana. There are so many things to do and see that if you've lived here for a long period of time, you might forget how awesome it was to experience the things we love about Montana for the first time.

Everybody Loves Montana

No seriously, it's true and proof of that can be found in the tourist data from 2024.

According to a report from KPAX, an estimated 13,787,000 visited Montana in 2024 with an estimated $5 billion spent on those visits. When you break down the numbers it actually gets more impressive. For example, that's equivalent to about 1,148,916 visitors a month or $416.66 million a month from visitors.

As someone who just recently moved to the state, I can certainly tell you whenever I've told friends or family we're living in Montana, I get a response of wonder and awe every single time.

For visitors, it's can be quite easy to come up with a one-word description of Montana. A visitor comes to the state and instantly thinks "mountains" or maybe "cold."
