Christmas Trains
Growing up, one of my favorite Christmas traditions was setting up a holiday village and Christmas train.
Every year, my grandpa received new buildings for his Christmas village, and it was a tradition to set them up around Thanksgiving.
The village grew yearly, and more buildings showed up in the collection.
I'm not exaggerating when I say the village became so large that it occupied a good chunk of the living room.
Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable memory that will forever live on in my mind.
A Link to Christmas Past
Many of those Christmas village buildings live in my house today, and they are some of my most meaningful decorations.
Every year, a little superglue is always required to keep these holiday village buildings looking good, but it's worth the work.

Many of these retro decorations return to homes as trends cycle back into fashion.
Sites like Etsy are treasure troves for vintage tinsel, bubble lights, and other timeless pieces.
Who knows? You might stumble upon a long-lost favorite that brings back warm holiday memories.
This Christmas, why not embrace a touch of vintage charm?
