United Van Lines revealed their 49th Annual Movers Study and apparently, people don't have Montana on the top of their list.

With that said, there are still a good amount of people moving back into Montana with 41.5% of inbound movers citing "Family" as the reason for moving to Montana.

The second highest reason people are moving to Montana is for their job with 26.8% of people sharing that their career was the reason for the move to Montana.

Why Are People Moving Out Of Montana?

On the other side of the coin, "Family" is the reason 33.8% of people say they are leaving Montana with another 17.6% citing "Retirement" as the reason for ditching Montana.

Also, 11.8% of people moving out cite both "lifestyle" and "job" as the reason for leaving the state of Montana according to United Van Lines.
