A few weeks ago, I found information about the old Black Bear Diner location at 1420 Market Place in Great Falls.

It was a Facebook post advertising the old restaurant furniture from the Black Bear Diner.

What made the post so interesting is that it said the space needed to be cleared out for a new tenant.

Here is what the post had to say…

"Tables, chairs, and booths from former Black Bear Diner. We are cleaning out in preparation for the new tenant. Would prefer someone to take all of them but will consider separating. No decor, bears, benches, or kitchen equipment to be given away or sold so please do not ask. ONLY tables, booths, and chairs. Booths have mountain/rustic upholstery. You haul & bring help to lift/dissemble. Approx 15-20 tables and 15ish booths (some 2 seaters, some 4) - please share!"

New Restaurant in Great Falls

So, since the space is vacant and we're not totally sure what will fill it, my question is: What would you like to see go into the old Black Bear diner location?

Personally, I'm a huge Cracker Barrel fan, and I would love nothing more than for a Cracker Barrel to move to Great Falls.

However, much like many restaurants, Cracker Barrel has been having financial problems and closing numerous restaurants.

But feel free to sound off on Facebook or messages on the app!

I would love to hear your thoughts on what should move into the old Black Bear diner location.
