Montana’s Own Sean O’Malley Dominates at UFC Freedom 250

In case you missed it, there was a lot of talk about UFC Freedom 250 yesterday and for good reason.

Yesterday's event marked the first time a sporting event was held at the White House.

UFC Freedom 250 Draws Mixed Feelings

When I took to social media to see how people felt about the event, I got a wide range of responses ranging from excitement to disapppointment.

"Disgusting…only saw snippets on MSNow!!" someone commented. "Turning our national treasures into a joke."

"Lots of white trash….its all about the benjamin’s and it all made the rich richer. It was not about celebrating our 250 - it was an about having a birthday party for the man child running the country. Never thought we would stoop this low!!"

"Makes me proud of America," another commented.

"I'm loving it," said another.

But what do the numbers say? According to Reuters, "16% of Americans said ​it was appropriate for Trump to hold the Ultimate Fighting Championship event, ​scheduled for his 80th birthday, while 46% said it was inappropriate and ⁠the rest didn't offer an opinion."

Despite the data and opinions on both sides, one thing is for sure: the state of Montana was well-represented.
