I'm sure Marc Racicot is a nice enough guy. I'm sure he was a decent governor back in the 1990's when some of us were still kids. But after leaving office in the late 1990's, where has Marc Racicot been? What has he done for Montana or Montana Republicans specifically?

In the last 20 years or so since I've been around Montana politics and broadcasting Marc Racicot basically has not been on the scene at all. You may recall back in 2001, he got hit by the Washington Post for basically being an Enron lobbyist (h/t Tim Adams on Twitter). So now he comes back on the scene and endorses Democrats like Joe Biden? Especially now that we can see what an absolute train wreck Biden has been for this country.

That's why when I saw the media making a big deal out of this Montana GOP resolution basically saying that Racicot does NOT speak for the GOP- it didn't seem like that big of a deal. He's endorsing Democrat and liberal candidates. He doesn't speak for the GOP. Of course they are going to make that clear.

I agree with John Jackson, the Joker from Twitter. We talked on the radio Tuesday and basically think that the news coverage of this story actually helps the MT GOP. It shows they're not just sucking up to the establishment and playing the game like politicians always seem to do. Why would voters vote for Republicans if they look and act no different than the Democrats?

Here's audio of our conversation from the 9 a.m. hour statewide show below:

Meanwhile, some of the Democrats are showing how outright shameful they are, and are reminding us of why the Montana Democrats are in a superminority in the Montana Legislature.

Ryan Busse is an anti-gun gun control activist. He's also a Democrat activist who has been affiliated with the Dem front group "Backcountry Hunters and Anglers."  Busse took a shot at Don "K", the Chairman of the Montana GOP and called him "DonKKK."

By the way, here's Racicot in the video below, endorsing the radical liberal Montana Supreme Court Justice Ingrid Gustafson:
