If you have been to any Montana State University sporting event, or an event in town, there is a good chance you have run into THIS GUY! He has an impact on the teams, coaches, and of course all of our fans.

Who am I talking about?? CHAMP!

Today is "National Mascot Day" and it only seems appropriate that we shine the light on Bozeman's favorite mascot, Champ.

We often have community events where Champ will show up and take pictures and help bring awareness to the event. We did a 12-hour Can The Griz event last year, and I witnessed firsthand, the admiration the community has for this fuzzy, fun, enthusiastic bobcat.

Dressed for every occasion, you will find Champ at the center of all of the fun!

Dancing with the Montana State University Dance Team and cheering with the Cheer Squad, Champ puts a smile on everyone's face. Even when he doesn't kick as high as the rest of the team, his flexibility is still much better than every other average joe. Not that I am one to judge, I can barely touch my toes!

I couldn't imagine being an MSU student and not having the charisma of such an amazing mascot to share moments with.

If you see Champ today, at a game, or at an upcoming community event, make sure to stop and say HI and snag a picture. Trust me, he will be thrilled to be a part of it.

Happy National Mascot Day to our very own CHAMP.
