Popular Fast Food Chain Announces Closures: Is Montana On The List?
News outlets nationwide have reported that a major fast-food chain is announcing closures in the United States.
I'm not sure what it is, but people seem to love their fast food in Montana, so I would be hard-pressed to believe that any of these closures will be in the Treasure State.
But here's what we know so far about the potential closure of fast-food restaurants in Montana.

Wendy's Closures
Recently, Wendy's announced that it will be closing 140 of its restaurant locations in the United States.
The fast food giant claims that these locations are underperforming.
According to Wendy's CEO Kirk Tanner, the restaurants closing have a margin below the average.
I did some digging; however, I was unable to find which locations Wendy's plans on closing.
I couldn't even find which states they're expected to close in.

Wendy's Opening New Restaurants
To help offset the closures, Wendy's plans to open more locations.
According to the restaurant chain, they will open 64 new locations in the third quarter of 2024.
The good news is that Wendy's is not going under or failing as a major restaurant chain.
It appears they are just restructuring a few stores to generate more revenue heading into 2025.
I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but I would certainly miss Wendy's if it were to close. Plus, I don't think they could go anywhere considering how iconic their social media following is.
