Cascade County Sheriff's Office and law enforcement continue to investigate the homicide of 25-year-old Terrell Johnson of Harlem, Montana.

Law enforcement took to social media to provide an update on the case and remind the community about an important detail about the suspect.

Cascade County Homicide Update: January 20, 2026

On Monday, Sheriff Jesse Slaughter of Cascade County Sheriff's Office shared an update to social media about the case while also reminding everyone: this suspect is bad news.

"At this point in time is the suspect in this matter is a danger to our community," Slaughter said in the video, "If I'm able at any point to get out a good description of our suspect, which we feel would be helpful in our investigation, I will do so."

"At this point in time, we are still combing through lots of video evidence, lots of other artifacts of evidence, trying to determine who this individual is or at least have something that if we release it to the public, it would give us a lead."
