Montana Law Enforcement Wants To Know Who This Unknown Person Is
If I've said it before, I've said it a million times: law enforcement has a tough gig. And I don't care who you are, being tasked with tracking down an unidentified individual based on grainy footage (sometimes black and white) is no easy feat.
And no, it's not as simple as plugging any grainy photos into AI and hoping you get a clearer image, it just doesn't work that way. One, you'd be altering an image which can come back later to bite ya in the butt and two - AI is essentially "guessing" based on other data and information it searches for on the web to use as context.
Cascade County Sheriff's Office Needs the Public's Help
In a post shared to Facebook on Tuesday (4/14), Cascade County Sheriff's Office shared an image, asking for the public's help in identifying the person in the photo.
"Attempt to Identify: The CCSO is looking for community assistance to identify this individual," the Facebook post says.
"Please contact Senior Deputy Schnetz 406-799-7963 if you have information."

Boy, looking at the photo... that's a tough one, but it's not the worst image law enforcement has had to work to identify.
What Did This Person Do?
There's no telling what this person has done yet as that information is not yet available. I would love to guess but that would be irresponsible of me, wouldn't it? For all I know, this individual has information that could help law enforcement.
On the other hand, perhaps they were a part of something or have information relating to criminal activity.

Because it's unwise to jump to conclusions, all we can do now is wait for more details to come out. That said, if you know who this person is or have information that can help law enforcement identify this individual, please contact Senior Deputy Schnetz at 406-799-7963.
We'll keep you posted on this story as (or if) it develops.
