CCSO has a new program

The Cascade County Sheriff's Office has a new program. It's called the Business and Property Check. Sheriff Jesse Slaughter says when there are slow times for a deputy they will be checking businesses to make sure everything is safe. Most of these will be done during the evening and overnights when businesses are closed. the deputy will check to make sure doors are secure and then they will leave a card under your door like the one with this story.

Sheriff says it also has information on the back of the card about best practices to deter crime and more. He says it's nothing more than a public service to let businesses they are out there trying to protect against crime.
