I was amazed to see all the famous people that have died on their birthdate.  The list was bigger than I thought it would be.  Here are some of the more notables.

 

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1616.  He died on his 52nd Birthday.

Ingrid Bergman was born on August 29 and she died on August 29, 1982 at the age of 67.  The actress won Three Academy Awards.

Betty Friedan.  She was the co-founder of the National Organization for Women.  She died on her 85th birthday, February 4, 2006.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Junior, the son of the former president died on his birthday August 17, 1988 at the age of 74.   Below is a picture of his father, the four-term president.

Mike Douglas.  He was a daytime TV show host that helped introduce Barbra Streisand and Aretha Franklin.  He died at the age of 81 on his birthday, august 11, 2006.

Merle Haggard, famous country singer died on his birthday, April 6, 2016.  He was 79.  He had 36 number one hits.  He was also married five times.

Mel Street was a country singer in the 70's.   He took his own life on his 43rd birthday October 21, 1978.

George Kelly Barnes, better known as Gangster Machine Gun Kelly was born on July 18, 1895.  He died of a heart attack on his 59th birthday in 1954.  He died in Alcatraz Prison where he had been for 21 years.  In prison he was known as Pop Gun Kelly for the big stories he would tell and the fact that he was not anything like what the FBI made him out to be.
