Great Falls North Garage Offers Free Parking For Two Hours

As the temperatures continue to climb and the weather finally decides to clear up here in Central Montana, downtown Great Falls will be thriving with events and activities.

It's no secret that parking downtown can be challenging at times; however, people seem to forget that we have multiple parking garages in the heart of our community.

Free Parking North Garage, Great Falls

The Great Falls City Parking Advisory Commission is bringing back a popular initiative starting June 1st.

This initiative started last year and allowed for two hours of free parking in the city's North garage at 17 4th St N.

After two hours, free parking, a fee of 50 cents per hour will be incurred.

The parking advisory commission tried this new initiative in the north garage for the first time in the summer of 2024, and there was a significant 144.8% increase in summertime parking activity in the north garage.

Downtown Great Falls Parking

• The North and South Parking Garages offer free parking after 6 PM, on weekends, and during City holidays.

• The South garage is located at 315 1st Ave S.

• On-street parking is free after 5 PM, on weekends, and during City holidays.
