Great Falls PD Searching For Vehicle Pursuit Victims

Shoot, if I've said it once before, I've said it a hundred times: our officers never know what they're getting into when clocking in for a day's work.

Most recently, police found themselves in a vehicle pursuit that eventually resulted in the driver going away in cuffs. But, officers are still working on cleaning this criminal's mess up.

Great Falls PD Ask Pursuit Crash Victims to Come Forward

Early on Monday morning, Great Falls police officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit that began at 2nd St. S and 10th Ave S. after the driver refused to pull over for a traffic stop.

The chase ended when the 65-year-old driver crashed his 2005 maroon Chevy Silverado into a marked patrol car. Yikes!

According to police, the driver caused a lot of chaos and police are looking for anyone who may have been affected by the pursuit.

Morning Vehicle Pursuit in Great Falls

Police are asking the public for any drivers affected to come forward.

"If you are a driver that had to move out of the way, slam on your brakes, or perform another maneuver to avoid a collision, or in another way was placed in danger by the driver, please let us know," police said in their statement.

If I had to guess, it sounds like police are looking to charge the driver with multiple offense for the danger he put everyone in - he even struggled with officers when he was being taken into custody, causing minor injuries to officers.
