What’s It Like to Work at Janicki in Great Falls?
We're not wasting time today, you and I, oh no. We have a lot to go over following a conversation I had with Cascade County Commissioner Joe Briggs regarding Janicki's big move to Great Falls and what it's like to work there. Also, you'll learn how you can be among the first to apply and work for Janicki.
Let's get right to it.
Janicki is Coming to Great Falls
By now, we've all heard that Janicki is setting up shop in Great Falls. According to their site, Janicki designs and builds "tools, parts, prototypes and assemblies for a myriad of industries, including aerospace, defense, space, marine, architecture and more. We specialize in composite fabrication and precision machining, utilizing our proprietary 5-axis mills."

Their arrival in Great Falls has a lot of upsides according to Cascade County Commissioner Joe Briggs and he had a chance to get a look behind the curtain at Janicki... and he was impressed.

Commissioner Briggs had a chance to not only tour the facility but witness how the company operates and treats its employees.
"These guys really are a family-owned company," Briggs shared, "We spent several hours touring the facility with one of the owners. He knew the names of all of the employees that we ran into."
"They called him by his first name, no formality."
Briggs added that the company solicits input from employees without managerial interference in the form of informal lunches.

"They have this thing that they call 'Skip-A-Level' where he and his brother, there's two brothers that actually own the company, they meet without managers with all of their employees over the course of a year in groups for lunch so that people can tell them what's on their mind without their bosses around," Joe explained.
"It's a very different place. I've never seen a manufacturing facility as clean and the stuff they do is just fascinating."
Careers at Janicki in Great Falls
If that all sounds intriguing and like the type of place you'd like to start a career, you're in luck.
Coming up on July 9th from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, Janicki will be holding their first community forum to talk about career paths and what your life could look like working with Janicki.
"You can RSVP for this just so that we can get the number of seats necessary on the GFDA website, Cascade County Commissioner Joe Briggs said, "They will talk in detail about what kind of skillsets they're looking for."

"They will train. They are looking for people who are at work on time and expect to give an employer a good day's work. They're looking, they're looking for, for personal skills. They're looking for people who are honorable, who have good moral character. And they'll train people that have those skills to do whatever is necessary to fit into the system at Janicki."
If you think this is the type of place you'd want to work at, you can get more information by RSVPing for the forum HERE.
