Montana Named One of the Best in the Country For Hourly Wage Growth

Regardless if you like or dislike work, one thing's for certain in Montana: wages are on the rise.

Governor Gianforte Shares Good News For Hourly Wage Workers

Thanks to data and information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Governor Gianforte recently announced Montana now ranks second for highest in the United States of America for hourly wage growth.

"With affordability top of mind for all Americans, Montana is proud to report our job creators are keeping pace with our growing economy to ensure workers are paid a fair wage," Gov. Gianforte said.

"With the second highest hourly wage growth in the nation and our continued work to further reduce the burden taxes, Montanans will be better equipped to achieve the American dream."

According to the report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Montana's average hourly wage grew 4.7 percent between 2024 ($27.96) and 2025 $29.27).

What's The Average Hourly Pay in Great Falls?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average hourly wage is $28.45 which falls right in the average that earned Montana second place in the country.
