Preliminary Attendance And Revenue From The 2024 Montana State Fair

Another year of the state fair has come and gone in Cascade County.

Although there were a couple of hot days during the fair, overall, the weather held up nicely.

We chatted with Cascade County Commissioner Joe Briggs on Wednesday, August 7th, regarding the Montana State Fair.

He provided a preliminary recap of Montana State Fair revenue and attendance numbers for 2024.

Overall, the state fair was fairly on track with the average in terms of attendance.

However, the preliminary numbers show that attendance gate revenue was down by about $64,000.

Please keep in mind that these are preliminary numbers and will be analyzed over the next few weeks.

2022 Fair Statistics:

• Fair gate attendance of 75,443
• Fair gate admissions revenue of $385,462
• Food vendor's gross sales revenue of $825,179

2024 Montana State Fair Review

I didn't spend quite as much time at the fair this year as I did last year.

Overall, I had a great time at the Montana State Fair, and there was entirely too much fair food.

I'm not big into riding rides, but I enjoyed the shows I attended and made it to all the exhibits.
