Although wide open spaces are what give the Big Sky state its name, they can wreak havoc regarding the spread of weeds.
We have a field near our house, and no matter how hard I try to keep weeds out of our yard, they're inevitable, especially when the wind kicks up.
But there are things you can do to mitigate weeds in your yard and have a lawn that rivals a golf course!

Now, some of those tips and tricks we just learned may have been a little bit redundant, but one way or another, you can't go wrong getting a head start on controlling weeds this year.
I've never tried the vinegar and salt concoction, but that might be a good experiment this spring.
We at the Laird household get a ton of weeds, and our yard has gravel paths, which love to collect weeds.
Not to mention the garden, which is another debacle.
I've considered doing a full lawn revitalization, and I'm sure I will someday.
But with two dogs that like tearing things up, it seems futile to put that much time and effort into the yard.
