So who is the most famous person to ever come out of Montana.  Right away I think of one guy, Evel Knievel.   The greatest daredevil of all time, right?

But as I was reading the other day I noticed another big name, and another big name, and another.  Here's one that  should be at the top of the list, actor Gary Cooper.  He was nominated for five academy awards and won one.  He was born in Helena.

There are others like Robbie Knievel, singer-comedian Reggie Watts,  Jesse Ferguson from the hit TV series Modern Family.

Martha Raye, Jeff Kober and Nicolette Larson are also from Montana. I know I missed a few but this is a pretty good start.  Montana should be proud.
