Why Are Great Falls Drivers so bad? Where Does Montana Rank in Driving.

Let me just say this, Great Falls drivers are some of the worst I have ever seen.  It seems that some of you either don't know the laws or just don't care.  I can't tell you how many times I have been narrowly missed at one of these intersections with no stop signs.  Just last week I was heading north on 13th street near 7th Avenue South and a vehicle heading east on eighth just flew right through the intersection without even looking.  Don't they know that the person to your right has the right of way when you get to the intersection together?  Or is it they just don't care.  I have almost been hit there five times already.

Lets talk about stop signs.  Stop means make a full stop.  Don't roll through the intersection.  Almost got hit by one of these maniacs last week off 15th street.

And just last week I had a guy turn on his blinker to turn right only to swing back in an attempt to make a you turn.  I narrowly missed him.  I guess he thought he was the only guy in the road.

And what's with the people that run red lights?    When a light turns yellow it does not mean speed up.    Lets be careful out there.

Some final thoughts,  there are at least ten people in the county jail right now  for various traffic violations like running lights,  no insurance,  driving on a suspended license and more.

According to MoneyGeek.com Montana ranked the worst when it came to driving.  The group says Montana ranked at the bottom because  we lack safe driving habits and an estimated ten percent of Montana's drivers lack insurance.
