Memories Of Ike Kaufman

Ike and his son Brian were some of the first people I met when I moved to Great Falls, Montana, in 2018.

I've spent a fair amount of time in Kaufman's over the years and have always enjoyed chatting with Ike about Great Falls' history.

I can honestly say Ike was a wealth of knowledge and incredibly passionate about the Great Falls Community.

Ike Kaufman's Legacy

Ike Kaufman was born in 1935 and witnessed his fair share of changes in the community.

He graduated from Montana State University and later joined Kaufman's Menswear Centre in 1957, eventually taking over the company in 1962.

In 1996, Kaufman's Menswear Centre received the Montana Family Business of the Year award, a testament to its impact and success.

Commitment To Community

Ike's commitment to our community was evident in everything he did.

He was a member of the Uptown Optimist Club, a fundraising organization dedicated to improving the community's youth.

His involvement in various community initiatives has made him a beloved figure in Great Falls.

History Of Great Falls

Ike Kaufman was incredibly passionate about our community and loved sharing its history.

Over the years, he hosted public talks, walking tours and spoke at numerous events.
