Property tax bills have been delayed and will hit your mailbox later than they usually would.

Why Cascade County Tax Bills Are Delayed?
According to the Cascade County Property Tax Department, the 2024 property tax bills are delayed.
The delay is due to the fiscal year 2024 and 2025 Mill Levies recertification.
This is a necessary process to ensure accurate tax rates and bill calculations.
The county does anticipate that the statements will be mailed out by the end of November.
New Deadlines for Property Tax Payments
Given the adjusted timeline, property owners will have a shorter buffer before their tax payments are due.
Here are the payment deadlines.
- First Half of Property Tax Payments: Due by December 31, 2024.
- Property Tax Assistance Program Exemption Payments: Due by January 21, 2025.
Once the property tax bills are officially mailed, residents will have a 30-day window to make their payments.
