Dance, Eat And Socialize All While Supporting A Great 4-H Program
Chestnut Valley 4-H Club is putting on a fund raising event. Clair McKamey gave us the details.
Clair: We're doing a 4-H fundraiser dance on May 6th. It's at the Wadsworth Hall in Cascade. It's to support our 4-H Club, we are charging $3 per person.
Randy: Tell me about your 4-H Club.
Clair: Our 4-H Club is a group of young members right now. I do steer market beef. I feed it until it's all finished and I walk it, get it cleaned up so I can show it, and then I sell it for college money.
Randy: What else does your club do besides sell animals?
A couple of my friends who don't do livestock, did robotics for quite some time. There is sewing and cooking projects.
