Famous People Careers Before They Were Famous- They Weren’t Born That Way
It is hard to imagine that the star (s) that we admire, dream about or inspire to be ourselves, weren't always stars. Very few of these famous people were born into that life, most worked their tail off to earn it. The Gerber baby is one of the few exceptions.
Who are some of the people you look up to? Google their name and see what they did before they "made it." Here is a list I compiled of just a few stars and their previous careers. Most of these (and more) came from Insider.
Mayim Bialik
Mayim has played several roles including the title character in Blossom. One of her most successful roles was as Amy Farrah Fowler on the Big Bang Theory. Mayim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, and although she went into acting, she did try out a different career. After Blossom, Mayim admitted to being a Sex Education teacher for awhile before landing the role on Big Bang Theory. Poor Sheldon never had a chance!
Margot Robbie
Margot is an award winning actress from Australia that has starred in many movies. Babylon, Focus and Suicide Squad are only a few. Where did she get her start- she was a "sandwich artist" for Subway sandwiches. She admits she doesn't like going to Subway now, because she doesn't like how they make the sandwiches- not as good as she did.
Terry Crews
Terry is a former football player, actor and current host of America's Got Talent. He also said he was once a courtroom sketch artist in Flint, Michigan. Probably picked up a few character ideas and traits in that courtroom.
Sylvester Stallone
If you don't know who Sly Stallone is, you had a bad childhood. I am not saying you had to watch Rocky growing up, but you certainly should of heard of it. Sly's secret previous life had him cleaning lion cages. He told the NY Times back in 1976 that he worked at the Central Park Zoo. No wonder he was so tough!
There are many more out there. Keep scrolling, there is a picture gallery below with ten more stars and their previous careers. Some will surprise you!
