
Montana Governor Donates Salary To Great Falls Student Program
We've all heard the saying of "putting your money where your mouth is." It's a fun way to spice up a bet or in this particular case, a great way to support our community.
And that's exactly what Governor Gianforte is doing for Great Falls.
High School House: Giving Great Falls Kids Another Way To Shine
In case you're unfamiliar, the High School House program is a collaboration between NeighborWorks and Great Falls Public Schools that has "produced 47 High School Houses in this community since 1997."

The program helps students gain valuable skills that they otherwise wouldn't get in the classroom. They can take these newly acquired skills into the real-world and even inspire them to pursue a career field within the world of construction.
According to NeighborWorks, "the buyers must be first-time homeowners, and many have become first-generation homeowners."
Governor Gianforte Supports High School House In A Big Way
In a post shared to social media, Governor Gianforte revealed he donated a portion of his salary to benefit the High School House program.
"As Montanans, we believe in hard work, opportunity, and giving back to our neighbors. That’s exactly what the Great Falls High School House Program is all about," Governor Gianforte wrote in his post.

The post also included a video highlighting Gianforte's visit with the program including his check presentation for $20,694.79 toward the program.
"As I continue my commitment to donating my annual salary, I am proud to support the work of these students."
