Great Conspiracy Theories- Down the Deep Rabbit Hole We Go

Lately I have seen several stories about Bigfoot sightings and UFO’s appearing around the country.  I often wonder if people are jumping on the band wagon or if there is some truth to the stories.  I have no doubt some of the people reporting the information truly believe they saw something, and in their mind, it is real. I am not saying it is real, but I am not saying it isn’t.

That led me to wonder what some of the biggest conspiracy theories are out there.  I decide to do some research and compile a list.  Here are my top ten in no particular order:

1. Did astronauts walk on the moon- There have been several stories over the years saying the famous “walk on the moon” video was staged in a warehouse in California. Personally, I believe the moon was happened and am not sure why people want to discredit it.
2. UFO’s- This another popular topic where people swear, they have seen them, and other people are convinced it is a scam.  I think it is arrogant to think humans are the only living thinking beings in the universe.
3. The 2020 election was stolen- This has been a huge topic of discussion that has divided the country between the pro-Trump and Anti-Trump constituents. Was it a fraudulent election?  I don’t know.  What I do know is President Biden is our president and that isn’t going to change.  I also know that whatever took place in 2020 can’t happen again. We are the greatest country in the world and corruption is something we can NOT allow in our elections.
4. Bigfoot is real- Sightings of Bigfoot have been reported in almost every state as well as Canada.  Reports of large hairy bipedal animals around the world are also common. Bigfoot has been called other names including Sasquatch, Yeti and many more.
5. What happened to Jimmy Hoffa- There are theories that he is buried in concrete in several locations or possible he is buried in the outfield of a famous baseball stadium. I am pretty sure we will never know.  The group of people he ran with were pretty good at making people disappear.
6. The Clinton curse- speaking of disappearing, it has been alleged that anyone that has crossed former President Clinton or his wife Hillary……. I am going to stop there.  I am not alluding that it is true, it is just something I have heard.
7. The Government is spying on all US citizens- Once again, I am not saying this is true.  I have seen stories, mostly on social media saying that Big Brother is watching. The movie 1984 touched on government overreach and spying would certainly reach that level.
8. Princess Diana’s death- Recently her son Prince Harry stated to Anderson Cooper on 60 minutes “"Proof that she was in the car. Proof that she was injured. And proof that the very paparazzi that chased her into the tunnel were the ones that were taking photographs — photographs of her lying half dead on the back seat of the car."
9. Amelia Earhart did not crash- Did she crash and die in the ocean? This is a question that has been hashed over with several different thoughts.  That was before my time, so I don’t have an opinion.
10. DB Cooper survived the crash- The famous DB Cooper robbery and plane jump is a story of intrigue. Recent stories have tied found  money to the event as  well as possible DNA evidence showing he may of survived.
