Do You Really Follow Every Law?

I like to think I’m a good person. Honestly, I think most of us feel that way.

But if we’re really being honest with ourselves, we’ve all probably broken a law or two at some point.

Breaking The Law Without Realizing It

The funny thing is, there are a lot of laws we break every single day, and most of the time we don’t even realize it.

I’m not talking about the obvious stuff like driving drunk or shoplifting. We all know better than that. I’m talking about the little things, like speeding a few miles over the speed limit or not coming to a full stop at a stop sign.

It doesn’t seem like a big deal, right? But technically, it’s still illegal. And if the wrong person happens to see it, you could be getting a ticket.

Growing Up Changes Your Perspective

It’s kind of like that old saying about a tree falling in the forest. If no one sees it, did you really break the law?

Well, yeah, it did. You just got away with it this time. Next time, maybe not so much.

I’ll admit, as I've gotten older, I’ve tried to be a little better about following those rules. Having kids definitely changes your perspective, and you want to set a better example.

Now, if you go through this list and honestly say you haven’t broken a single one of these Montana laws, well, you might just be a better person than me. But I’m not sure I believe you.
