10 Simple Items to Re-Gift This Montana Holiday Season

Here we are, back at it again.  It's the holiday season and so starts all the scrambling.  Whether it is trying to make accommodations for family or friends, trying to find all the right ingredients to make that special meal, or trying to find the perfect gift for that special someone.  The hectic season has returned, and all hell is seemingly breaking loose.

Don't let it get you down!  We have put together some easy ways to get that gift giving problem handled this year, and it won't hardly cost you a dime.

Being A Re-Gifter Isn't a Bad Thing, Really!

It may come with some ugly connotations, but really, re-gifting isn't that bad.  Not only is it fiscally responsible, but it also is eco-friendly.  If someone else can use what you aren't, think of how much stuff wouldn't be in our landfills.  So, throw those worries aside and start getting after it.

It's time to start checking the closets, storage rooms, attics and even the garage for items that will be acceptable under the tree this year as re-gifts.

In a new poll at MSN.com, the question was posed as to what an acceptable gift to re-gift to someone is.  How many of these items do you have just laid around the house?

  1. Artwork or framed photos that aren't personalized.
  2. New board games or puzzles that you or your children won't play.
  3. Non-perishable gourmet food or specialty items.
  4. Unworn clothing or accessories.  Bonus if tags are still attached.
  5. Unopened beauty or grooming products.
  6. Home decor that is unopened or in the original package.
  7. Unused kitchen gadgets or even appliances.
  8. Books or DVD's in great condition.
  9. Non-personalized gift cards.
  10. Unopened bottles of wine, champagne or any alcohol.

I think I have at least one of each of these!  What about you?  Do you have ideas on gifts that make even better re-gifts?  Let us know in the comments of our social media, through the appchat feature or you can email your thoughts to me here.
