"On 10/8 Justin suffered a sudden heart attack while walking his kids home from school," says the description of the GoFundMe, "His heart had to be shocked twice, and he required CPR before his pulse was restored. The doctors say that his heart stopped for unknown amount of time, and while his heart is now functioning properly, the main concern is his brain function due to the amount of time he was down."

At the time of writing this, the GoFundMe is currently at 84% of its goal at $2,175 out of the $2,600 goal. The fund is to help Justin cover his medical bills, which will include heart surgery, house bills, and of course, support for his children.

"Justin is currently fighting for his life, and our family is holding onto hope and faith that he’ll pull through," Justin's GoFundMe says.

"He does not have health insurance, and the medical bills are already beginning to add up. On top of that, Justin is the primary provider for his children, and with him unable to work, his family is facing financial uncertainty."

Tracy's Family Diner Plans A Special Day To Help Justin

According to a post on their Facebook page, the diner will be holding a special fundraiser for Justin on Wednesday, October 22nd.

"Next Wednesday, October 22nd, we’re hosting a special fundraiser for our teammate Justin, who could use a little extra help right now," the post says.
"We’ll be donating **20% of all sales** at the restaurant that day to Justin and his kids as they get through this difficult time. You can support by dining in with us or ordering takeout or delivery directly from TracysDiner.com."
It's important to remember that DoorDash orders will NOT count toward the fundraiser.
Let's all do our part to help Tracy's Family Diner supper Justin during his recovery.
