Is Something Moving Into The Old Black Bear Dinner In Great Falls?

Numerous businesses have come and gone from the restaurant location at 1420 Market Place in Great Falls.

The latest restaurant to call this space home was Black Bear Diner.

Black Bear Diner did have a decent run in that location.

However, the restaurant felt the pinch during COVID-19 and struggled with staffing issues.

Late in 2023, Black Bear Diner in Great Falls announced on Facebook that it was calling it quits.

I feel horrible for the employees since the restaurant seems to close its doors just before Christmas unexpectedly.

What's Going Into The Old Black Bear Diner Location In Great Falls?

Over the weekend, I was perusing the Facebook marketplace and stumbled across a rather interesting post.

Someone has a listing of the old furniture from Black Bear Diner in Great Falls.

At first, it didn't seem like anything overly exciting.

But when I read further into the description, they clearly said that they are preparing for a new tenant.

Here is what the post had to say…

"Tables, chairs, and booths from former Black Bear Diner. We are cleaning out in preparation for the new tenant. Would prefer someone to take all of them but will consider separating. No decor, bears, benches, or kitchen equipment to be given away or sold so please do not ask. ONLY tables, booths, and chairs. Booths have mountain/rustic upholstery. You haul & bring help to lift/dissemble. Approx 15-20 tables and 15ish booths (some 2 seaters, some 4) - please share!"

Maybe I'm reading between the lines a little bit too much, but something or someone will be moving into the old Black Bear Diner location in Great Falls.
